Charles M. DeWitt, III, President and CEO – Charles has over 25 years in the banking industry. He is the founding CEO of Resurgens Bank and its holding company Resurgens Bancorp, which opened its doors to the public in June 2008. Charles has experience in many aspects of banking including retail, commercial lending, credit, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. He received formal credit training with Trust Company of Georgia (now known as SunTrust), a BS from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and completed the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Since 1995, he and his family have resided in the neighborhoods around Northlake, in DeKalb County, where he has coached basketball at Briarlake Church and soccer at TYSA. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Northlake Community Alliance, board member of One Hundred Days, a not-for-profit building a hospital in Rwanda, and board member of Intown Community School Foundation.

Rebecca Abraham, Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer – Rebecca has over 25 years of banking experience, with expertise in Credit Management and Loan Administration.  She has worked in various roles at SunTrust, Colonial Bank, Wachovia and Georgian Bank, including Commercial, Real Estate, Wealth Management and Private Banking. Rebecca most recently served as Senior Credit Officer at First Citizens Bank in its Atlanta Metro Division.  Rebecca graduated from the University of Michigan. She is a member of the Georgia Bankers Association and has participated on the Risk Management Associates Southeastern Region Credit Officers Roundtable.

Wayne Byers, CPA, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer - Wayne has over 20 years of banking experience beginning his career with Prudential Bank, focusing on treasury management. He served 8+ years as Chief Financial Officer of an Atlanta based thrift savings bank responsible for all aspects of the companies SEC and regulatory reporting. Wayne received a BBA from the University of Georgia and a Master of Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University. Wayne is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Pat Walsh, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending – Pat has over 20 years of banking experience. He has 11 years experience in commercial banking and commercial dealer services divisions of SunTrust Bank and served as a SVP of commercial lending at Midtown Bank. He currently serves as a board member of Capital Partners Community Development Corporation, an entity that underwrites and processes SBA 504 loans in partnership with local banks. He received a B.A. degree from Kalamazoo College and a M.B.A. from Western Michigan University. Pat and his family live in the city of Decatur.  NMLS #867028

Greg M Autrey, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending - Greg has over 30 years of banking experience in the small to medium size Commercial lending markets. He received his formal credit training at C&S National Bank and most recently served as the EVP/Senior Lender for a community bank in Decatur. Greg received a BBA from The University of Georgia and is a native of Atlanta. He and his family reside in DeKalb county.   NMLS #761948

Nancy Lewis, Vice President, Business Development - Nancy has over 20 years of commercial banking experience. After two years in the Commercial Division and a short stint in Professional Banking, Nancy spent most of her career in the DeKalb Business Banking market at Wachovia Bank. Nancy received a BA in Mathematics and French from Agnes Scott College. Nancy and her family have lived in the Northlake community for over 25 years.  NMLS #914974

Leigh Milton, Senior Vice President, Small Business Administration Lending - Leigh has been in commercial lending in Atlanta for 23 years.  He began his banking career with Trust Company Bank and has spent the last 16 years specializing in SBA lending while working for local community banks.  Leigh is primarily focused on SBA loan opportunities through the 7a and 504 loan programs. His concentrations are in the business acquisition area, as well as in multi-purpose and special-use real estate acquisitions and refinancing's.  Leigh received a BS in Finance from West Georgia College in Carrollton.
